The Procedure.
The treatment is very quick, usually about 15 minutes. A small needle is used to inject the Botulimum toxin underneath the skin into specific muscles. Sedation or local anaesthetic is not required as the needle and amount of liquid used is particularly small and so discomfort, if any, is minimal.

The comfort of the individual is a priority at facial Aesthetics. For those who require it, ice can be applied prior to treatment to facilitate the numbing of the area.

After the Procedure.
As Botox is minimally invaisive recovery time is quick. Patients can often return to work immediately.

It is recommended to keep moving the facial muscles and to not lie down within four hours after the treatment.

The effects of the treatment can be seen within 48 hours and the maximum effects are visible at around two weeks.
